Growing up in the capital city of Stockholm in Sweden Oliw87 Began to realise his talent for graffiti in his teenage years.

In the early 2000's Oliw87 passion was to paint trains, walls and paint bomb around the city quickly getting his work noticed, especially for his CHANEL OR DIE series that you can see taking a stroll around Stockholm.

 

Here he realised his talents and decided to go from the streets to canvas, creating gritty art, no fine lines, no neat lettering, his work is full of drips and splashes giving it that urban art feel.

 

Inspiration comes from many different sources for Oliw, He likes to combine iconic cartoons, with iconic figures and luxury brands or items. every piece he creates has street art ''painted'' all over it.

 

Oliw87 tells us that although a lot has changed since his teenage years his love for street art will never die and always finds time to create something special on the streets of Sweden this is why he does not reveal his real name.
